Hammer Mill
Hammer Mill for the most demanding applications like Feed, Biomass and Grinding industries, the heavy-duty Hammer mill comes in a variety of sizes and models that match all particle size-grinding needs. Hammer Mill built to the highest standards, the heavy duty frame is design to minimize vibration and noise, a robust regrind chamber and pivoting arms type full-access doors, allow the doors to move out of the way during maintenance of Mill.
The hammers are allowed to be in continuous motion at a particular rpm. The feed material is placed in the feed chute. From the feed chute, the material travels towards the hammer. Now, the reduction of size of feed material or crushing of particles occurs in three ways:
- 1. The feed material is first impacted by the hammer due to which it breaks into smaller sizes.
- 2. Then, the particle hits the casing which further breaks it into smaller sizes.
- 3. The particle also hits another particle and the size is again reduced.
The cycle keeps repeating till all the feed material is reduced to the required size. During this process, those particles who achieve the required size pass through the screen while the rest of the particles have to go through the above cycles till they achieve the required size.
